Creatures are plaguing Atlanta, killing the magical beings and stealing their magic. When a wizard is killed in front of Logan Callaghan, a centuries-old Fey warrior, a war begins. A Witch from another plane will be the key to figuring out where these creatures come from and how to stop them. Add, in a few Fallen Angels and you have a battle unlike any before on this earth.

Damned changes!! (I couldn’t resist)

Okay, for those of you who are wonder WTH?! I wasn’t abducted by aliens like my friend thought. I have decided to put off The Necromancer’s Wife for now because I’m going to attempt to publish it traditionally first. This might seem weird, but I’ve never even tried to traditionally publish a book yet. So, in an attempt to try new things, I’m  going to check it out. If it gets rejected, oh well, at least I tried.

Now, on to the more important stuff. I’m currently working hard on Damned and will definitely, one-hundred percent have it out by the end of this month. With Damned, I’m given a unique opportunity. Avery ends up in the Hell dimension and is going to meet quite a few interesting creatures. Obviously there will be plenty of Demon running amuck, but there will also be plenty of different beings. Because of that, I am running a contest starting today to Create a Creature for Damned. The rules are simple. You will fill out the following form with your first name and email address (so I can contact you if you win) and then list your creature. Add as many details as you would like to give about the creature you would like to see in the book. You can give your creature a name, or not. You can go into detail about the creature or just give a basic species name.

A couple of examples would be: “A pink unicorn named Bob.” Or “A doppelganger named Daisy that looks just like Avery except she’s cross-eyed, has freckles, and snorts when she laughs.” Those are just the first two I thought of.

Like I said, the sky is the limit. Obviously you would need to use a known creature, but if you want to make one up, make sure you give me enough details to describe them accurately in the book. I will draw a winner on the night of October 7th. Oh yeah, I guess I should tell you what you win if you’re selected. The winner will not only get their creature in the book, but will also be recognized in the acknowledgments and will receive a signed copy of Damned once it’s released.  I will notify the winner via email on Tuesday night.  Good luck. I hope you have fun thinking up a critter (as we call them around here).
