Creatures are plaguing Atlanta, killing the magical beings and stealing their magic. When a wizard is killed in front of Logan Callaghan, a centuries-old Fey warrior, a war begins. A Witch from another plane will be the key to figuring out where these creatures come from and how to stop them. Add, in a few Fallen Angels and you have a battle unlike any before on this earth.
Alright! I don’t know about you but I am soooo glad its Friday. The sad thing is that the kids were out of school Monday and Tuesday because of Mardi Gras. (Yes, they actually allow the students days off school so they can go watch floats and catch beads.) So it was a short week. But it seems like anytime the kids are out it just makes me want to have more time with the kids off. I guess its partly due to my overwhelming want for summertime. This seems like the longest winter in existence and I’m dreaming of hot days with 100% humidity. (I’m from the south. There is no summer without high humidity.)
Anyway, let’s get to the quote. This one made me stop and laugh as I was writing the book because of the images it produced. Its Luke talking in response to a suggestion Avery made about trying to counteract his curse. Enjoy, hope your weekend’s a good one. Don’t forget to set your clocks a head.
