YAY! The Driven is available for preorder. Order your copy today! This fifth installment of the Fallen–Fey Chronicles will be released on Friday, January 12th!
I have never been more excited about a book. The butterflies in my stomach are threatening to become bees due to the added anxiety I’m feeling. Even the first book I published didn’t incite such strong emotions. Sure, I was excited and there was a small level of anxiety, but there was no pressure. I was no one. No one had ever read one of my books. No one was counting on the next installment and waiting not-so-patiently for it to be released.
This book has been in the works for over a year now. A full year for a novella. Let’s just say that getting it to this point was a labor of love—a lot of labor and a lot of love.
But, now it’s finally ready and words can’t express how overjoyed I am. This is the fifth book in the Fallen–Fey Chronicles and it follows Callum Nash on his journey to find his mate. You might remember Callum from Deadened. Well, let’s just say he’s not quite as ignorant of American ways as he was back then.
Not only does this book bring back one of my favorite Feys, it is also a turning point in the series. I won’t give away any spoilers, but I will say that everything is going to be different from here on out. Don’t worry. There’ll still be plenty of action (both fighting and otherwise, if you know what I mean *cue brow waggle**) and I’ll still do my best to torment my sweet Fey and Fallen as well as their prospective significant others.
Okay, what’s a new book release without a few teasers?
Here are the cover and description, as well as the link where you can preorder your copy on Amazon. I’ll be sharing teasers from the book on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the next two weeks, and I’ll add the links here once the posts go live as well as sharing them on social media. So, you won’t miss a thing!

How would you feel if you suddenly had magic? What if that newfound gift painted a bright-red target on your back?
Callum Nash has literally just run into the dumbest Witch in the history of the craft. Given how much magic she has, only an idiot would be out in the open without an antishield. He wanted to leave her to her suicide mission and continue his nomadic existence on this plane, but he could not let her go so easily. When he finds out that she is from the same world as the Darkness, everything changes, including his need for solitude.
Lacy Matthews’s world changed in a single day. She lost both of her parents and her closest friend. To add to her tragedy, she now possesses magic like she has never known, making her a beacon for the Darkness haunting her world. After living her entire life as practically a null, she now has to figure out how to survive with magic.
The question of where her magic came from is soon followed by who is now using a spell to steal it and why. The answer gives new light to how they view the Darkness and how to kill them.
